I should have been working on my Community Supported Arts Program pieces but I was itching to draw after missing last Sunday. After a pencil sketch and one with vine charcoal, I dove right back into the ink. I love drawing with a brush. The barest hint of ink with water at first and then building. Of course sometimes it goes horribly wrong. Ink is unforgiving which is why I'm drawn to it. No compulsive erasing until it's "perfect." Embrace the mistakes and see what happens. The drawing with the white pastel pencil added was about to be crumpled up several times but it's ok. I'm not thinking about them being finished drawings yet. It's really more I just start somewhere and see what happens.
