These ceramic sausages are lovingly made by hand, glazed, fired in the kiln, and finished with encaustic wax for a fatty sheen. Grilled versions have magma glaze for that lovely charred effect.
 
They say you can't fire hollow, completely closed forms in the kiln without them exploding, but these prove them wrong:) They make a great conversation piece.
 
Comes in Knockwurst or Bratwurst, the latter have small wire loops at the end for hanging.Sizes vary but are 5 to 7 inches.
